The Dalmatian Navy
The Navy's mission is to protect the ROD's interests at sea. This includes, but is not limited to, deploying se, air, and amphibious forces around the globe for combat operations, providing humanitarian aid to other nations, and ensuring freedom of navigation in international waters.
Being an island nation, the Navy plays a crucial role in the security of the ROD. The Navy patrols and secures ROD territorial waters to ensure that hostile parties are denied access to our homeland. In addition, the Navy conducts routine patrols of the world’s oceans which enable them to respond to crises at a moment’s notice.
The largest and most powerful fleet in the Navy, First Fleet is responsible for operations in the Pacific Ocean, which includes the ROD home waters.
Based at Naval Station San Andreas, Second Fleet is responsible for naval operations in the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean Sea.
Third Fleet is responsible for naval operations in the Atlantic Ocean. It is based at Naval Station the Angle, with a forward headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.
Home based at the Naval Amphibious Base, the Fleet Amphibious Force is responsible for the Navy's amphibious assault ships and their operation.
The Navy maintains the Fleet Expeditionary Force as a means of projecting power across he globe through strategic naval mobility and prepositioned military assets.
