Second Fleet Headquarters

The Second Fleet Headquarters is where the fleet’s magic happens. The main headquarters for Second Fleet is located at Naval Station San Andreas where the bulk of the fleet is home ported. It includes 350 officers and NCOs organized into functional departments to include the command group, plans, operations, liaison, supply, and others. The fleet's home is Naval Station San Andreas, but a small forward headquarters is located at Naval Station Mahishmati that can be expanded to house the full headquarters when necessary. Additionally, the fleet command ship RODS Achilles (Blue Ridge Class) is under the command of Second Fleet, and is permanently based in the Mediterranean. This provides a third platform for command of Second Fleet.

CVBG-8 is built around the JFK class aircraft carrier Armageddon. In addition to the Armageddon (CV-8), the battle group includes the Ticonderoga class cruiser Labrador (CG-49), three Arleigh Burke class destroyers from DESRON 29: Mortar (DDG-111), Rocket (DDG-123), and Khopesh (DDG-136), the Virginia class attack submarine Muskie (SSN-27), and the Sacramento class fast support ship Black Bear (AOE-100).

Carrier Air Wing 4 is assigned to the Armageddon. It includes  VFA-5 "Buccaneers" (12 x F/A-18C), VFA-17 "Wasps" (12 x F/A-18C), VS-44 "Hellfire" (8 x S-3B), HCS-56 "Angry Hornets" (8 x SH-60F), VFA-87 "Banditos" (12 x F/A-18E), VFA-89 "Admiral's Favorites" (12 x F/A-18E), Detachment B of VAQ-10 "Bandits" (EA-6B), and Detachment A of VAW-57 "Wizards" (4 x E-2C).

CVBG-11 is built around the JFK class aircraft carrier Valkyrie. In addition to the Valkyrie (CV-11), the battle group includes the Ticonderoga class cruiser Akida (CG-46), three Arleigh Burke class destroyers from DESRON 23: Musket (DDG-102), Javelin (DDG-120), and Carbine (DDG-142), the Virginia class attack submarine Perch (SSN-26), and the Sacramento class fast support ship Antelope (AOE-96).

Carrier Air Wing 3 is assigned to the Valkyrie. It includes  VFA-12 "Black Knights" (12 x F/A-18C), VFA-35 "Ace of Spades" (12 x F/A-18C), VS-41 "Trojans" (8 x S-3B), HCS-45 "Warriors" (8 x SH-60F), VFA-65 "Shadow" (12  F-35C), VFA-88 "Dumpster Fire" (12 x F/A-18E), Detachment A of VAQ-10 "Bandits" (4 x EA-6B), and Detachment A of VAW-97 "Trash Pandas" (4 x E-2C).

CVBG-17 is built around the Nimitz class aircraft carrier Inferno. In addition to the Inferno (CVN-17), the battle group includes the Ticonderoga class cruiser Beagle (CG-51), three Arleigh Burke class destroyers from DESRON 21: Halberd (DDG-128), Katana (DDG-131), and Scimitar (DDG-143), the Virginia class attack submarine Bull Shark (SSN-47), and the Supply class fast support ship Ferret (T-AOE-109).

Carrier Air Wing 5 is assigned to the Inferno. It includes  VFA-22 "Goblins" (12 x F/A-18E), VAW-23 "Eagle Eye" (6 x E-2D), VAQ-34 "Hell's Angels" (6 x EA-18G), VRC-40 "Rough Riders" (3 x MV-22B), HCS-50 "Gladiators" (8 x MH-60S), VFA-67 "Cannibals" (12 x F-35C), HSM-74 "Wild Cats" (8 x MH-60R), VFA-83 "Daggers" (12 x F/A-18E), VFA-86 "Crazy Train" (12 x F-35C), and VAK-103 "Bartenders" (6 x MQ-25).

SUBRON 22 is a guided missile submarine squadron. The Ohio class subs in this formation are capable of firing cruise missiles against sea or land targets. Some ROD missile boats may or may not be equipped to launch Nuclear ICBMs as well!

Submarines in SUBRON 22 are the Rhino (SSGN-6), Badger (SSGN-37), Lion (SSGN-41), and Brahman (SSGN-42).

SUBRON 24 is an attack submarine squadron. The Virginia class subs that make up SUBRON 24 are deadly hunters, able to silently stalk and attack ships and submarines without warning.

Submarines in SUBRON 24 are the Walleye (SSN-29), and Piranha (SSN-32).

There are several ROD Navy ships that report to Second Fleet that do not belong to other formations. These include the Iowa class battleship Werewolf (BB-14), the Montana class battleship Chupacabra (BB-15), and the Blue Ridge class command ship Achilles (LCC-1).

The ROD maintains a formidable naval presence at Naval Station Mahishmati, at the north end of the Bay or Bengal. Task Force Stallion includes the Ticonderoga class cruiser Newfoundland (CG-54), the Arleigh Burke class destroyers Shuriken (DDG-139), Onager (DDG-141), and Mangonel (DDG-145), the Oliver Hazard Perry class frigates Harpy (FFG-152) and Gargoyle (FFG-155), and the Sacramento class fast support ship Lynx (AOE-99).
