3rd Air Force
The 3rd Air Force is an organization that is steeped in secrecy. Nearly everything that 3rd Air Force units do is highly classified, and even their home base of Pegasus Field in the ROD is locked down with limited access.
3rd Air Force is responsible for all special operations that Air Force units undertake, as well as all strategic reconnaissance missions. Due to the unorthodox missions requirements, the squadrons will often fly aircraft that seem strange to modern air power observers.
